It's the summer of 1959 in Halifax. Twelve year old Rosalie develops an unlikely friendship with her strange new neighbour, David. When Rosalie learns that her beloved cousin, Johnny, has gone missing, she and David are determined to find out what happened to her cousin. This story explores the themes of friendship, family and abuse. It is slow moving, but does provide an interesting window into life in 1959 Halifax.
