From Charlie's Point Of View A Mystery By: Richard Scrimger

Genre:  Mystery
Age Recommendation:  Grade 7/8

Charlie Fairmile and his best friend, Bernadette, are starting middle school.  They're nervous about this, but they have each other to count on.  This is especially important for Charlie because he is blind and relies on Bernadette to help him.  The first day of school is going well until Charlie gets called out of class and finds out that his dad has been accused of bank robbery.  Charlie, Bernadette and their unlikely new companion, Lewis, must work together to prove Mr. Fairmile's innocence.  This is an enjoyable and quirky past Red Maple Nominee.  For those who have read and enjoyed, Zomboy, also by Richard Scrimger, this is sure to please.
