Genre: Realistic Fiction
Age Recommendation: Grade 5-8
In the small town of Cliffs Donnelly, Ohio, things have been tough lately. People are losing their jobs and there isn't a lot of hope. But things begin to change when classmates, Ryan and Ernest, find themselves in a cave that is under Thompkins Well and they accidentally find themselves hearing the wishes people are making into the well. Shortly after, people seem to be getting the things they need to give them hope and happiness. Is it a miracle? What's happening in Cliffs Donnelly?
I am a book loving elementary school teacher librarian. This blog reflects my personal opinions about the books I have read and is intended to be used by students and teachers who are looking for a book recommendation.
