Genre: Fantasy Fiction
Age Recommendation: Grade 5+
Ethan and Sarah live with their dad who is a famous graphic novelist. Unfortunately, ever since Ethan's mom got sick and passed away, nothing has been the same, including his dad's ability to create stories. Late one night in his Ethan's father's home studio something very unusual happens, an ink spot frees itself from his sketchbook and soon finds itself helping to heal this broken family. Inkling is an original and creative story with interesting illustrations accompanying the text.
I am a book loving elementary school teacher librarian. This blog reflects my personal opinions about the books I have read and is intended to be used by students and teachers who are looking for a book recommendation.
