This is the moving story of Daniel and his family as they live life under Nazi rule. At first Daniel's family is living in Frankfurt where the Nazis take away their ability to work, vote and practice their religion. His family is then moved to a Polish ghetto and finally to Auschwitz. Amidst all this, Daniel and his family find a way to maintain hope.
