Young Man with Camera By: Emil Sher

Genre: YA/Realistic Fiction
Age Recommendation: Grade 7-8

“T” has a large scar on his face because of an accident that happened with the stove when he was younger. He uses his camera to express himself and capture interesting things. While taking photos, "T" befriends a homeless woman named Lucy. Unfortunately, Lucy gets beaten by a group of school bullies. "T" captures the abuse on camera, but is too afraid to share it because the bullies are very dangerous and have already made life difficult for "T". Will "T" do the right thing? This is an Interesting idea for a novel, but I did find it a little unpolished. The book contains photos that aren't not very believable and don't truly seem to match the content.
