"Two Degrees" is yet another great book by Alan Gratz. This book tells three climate change stories through the experiences of four seventh graders. The reader will follow Akira as she tries to find her way through a wildfire in California, Natalie as she is swept away by a hurricane in Florida, and Owen and George in Churchhill, Manitoba where they are being stalked by a hungry polar bear. This book is an informative and entertaining page-turner. Read the book to find out how the characters escape their climate disasters and how they are all connected. I recommend this book to fans of Alan Gratz, fans of realistic fiction, and anyone wanting to learn more about climate change.
I am a book loving elementary school teacher librarian. This blog reflects my personal opinions about the books I have read and is intended to be used by students and teachers who are looking for a book recommendation.
