Forever Birchwood is the story of Wolf and her "pack" of friends who live in Sudbury, Ontario and love nature. They spend every free moment together and even built a hideaway in the woods where they can enjoy nature and their friendship. When the girls realize that their beloved forest and mountains are to be the location of a new subdivision, they spring in to action and do everything they can to save the forest. This is a wonderful story of friendship and standing up for what's right. I recommend this Silver Birch 2023 nominee to anyone who likes realistic fiction and especially those who believe in standing up for the environment.
