Asha is the daughter of the King of Firgaard. She is a dragon hunter. Asha believes she is the Iskari and as such is cursed to be a killer. But, could it be that Asha is actually the Namsara and is a bringer of life? As the book's cover states, this is a book with, "A forbidden love. A kingdom at war. A secret that will change everything." The basis of this story is quite creative and I love that it features a female warrior. I found the beginning and end of the book to be enjoyable, but at 416 pages, I personally felt that the story was unnecessarily long.
I am a book loving elementary school teacher librarian. This blog reflects my personal opinions about the books I have read and is intended to be used by students and teachers who are looking for a book recommendation.
