Lily was born Timothy, but is a girl and being a girl is not too easy when you look like a boy. Dunkin is new in town and suffers from bipolar disorder. The story is told from each character’s perspective and is a truly powerful book. The story gets you hooked and as the characters face their individual challenges and develop, the reader's interest is definitely maintained. This book was chosen for SCDSB Read Aloud in 2017 and was thoroughly enjoyed by the grade 7/8 class.
