From the author of the "Golden Compass" series, comes this spine tingling tale of an apprentice clock maker who does not have a new figure ready for the town clock. The apprentice's friends think hearing a story will cheer him up, but when Dr. Kalmenius from the story, walks into the pub, the story comes to life. This story contains death and is generally gross at times, but for those who enjoy "horror" stories, it is sure to please.
